Premium cards are the same as regular cards but they cost less CP. However, they may not be reloaded in battle.
Map cards are cards for the field outside of battles, for opening doors. Each door has a number or color, and all you have to do is follow that 'rule'. Then the doors will open. Map cards also have special effects. They can change the next room to only have, for example, a treasure chest. Some put in save points, some affect the enemies.
Moogle shops allow you to buy new cards with Moogle points obtained on the field outside of battle; or you may 'sell' cards for points.
