Final Fantasy VI

A personal favorite for many, FFVI is a 1994 RPG for the SNES. It is known for is epic story, unique battle system, stunning music, and beautiful 2D graphics. The plot revolves around a group of heroes, called the Returners, who aim to stop the evil and corrupt Gestahl Empire. The game is particularly noted for its comic relief being the villian, Kefka, known for various lines, particulalry, 'Son of a Submariner!'. Other notable characters include Terra, Celes, and Locke.

Final Fantasy is probably the most well-received Final Fantasy on EoFF. It has a large number of fans and is one of the few Final Fantasies veteran members still discuss today. Final Fantasy VI section on Eyes on Final Fantasy front site
