Jowy originally registered at TripleTriadX.com in 2001, under the name Thanatos and was a respected member of their community. He then found out about the IRC channel and entered it after struggling with the Java client. Upon realization of the numerous IRC channels on the ffchat.net server, he decided to enter #fflegend one day and join the forums proceeding that. He regularly posted there with nothing too strange going on, until one day when out of nowhere, half of Eyes on Final Fantasy joined the board overnight. Young Eric was curious of this strange and new place and registered at their boards, posting only occasionally. He phased out of the public eye only to pop in the IRC channel on occasion, make an occasional forum post, and in one very entertaining circumstance, raid a Resident Evil message board. He frequents the #eoff IRC channel now and posts rather frequently. Jowy also overuses the <3 emoticon, and the IRC stats prove this.
