Kathryn, otherwise known as Katson or Katz, was released from her ban earlier in 2008. Having already been two years the staff decided to give her rights to the forum back.

Forums

Kathryn joined EoFF on October 28, 2004, and early on was a moderately prominent member of the Final Fantasy VIII forum. Her behavior was moderately immature, but this was generally offset by her claimed age of 11. In general, members treated her with a well-intentioned sarcasm, never truly approaching a level of true antagonism. As time went on, however, Kathryn became increasingly hostile, and her behavior was tolerated somewhat less. Still, she continued as a reasonable member of the forum.

Kathryn had her birthday in December, and subsequently claimed her age was 12, which was consistent with her previous declaration. At some point in early 2005, however, her declared age changed to 18. The motivation behind this change and her true age may be forever unknown. In any case, her status at the forum was relatively unchanged.

Kathryn truly began gaining notoriety on March 5, 2005, with the posting of her me new website thread. This thread, while mostly self-explanatory, indicated Kathryn's lack of experience with computers. The resulting response resulted in “copy paste DUH!” becoming a catch phrase associated directly with Kathryn. The motivation behind this varied from individual to individual, but in general, it was mostly lighthearted. This ultimately resulted in a revenge thread of sorts, wherein Kathryn asked for some information on the herb tarragon. She was met with mostly sarcastic responses, imitating her previous blunder. Still, she carried forward. While this event may ultimately have been the early seeds of her downfall, to declare such would be mere speculation.

Later in the month, Kathryn became visibly agitated at the lack of threads available for spamming, and often struggled against the staff in an attempt for more loose rules about spam. The fight was mostly for naught, however. After one too many such threads was closed, Kathryn eventually snapped. On April 2, 2005, amidst the aftermath from the recent April Fool's Day joke, she posted her Who hates the site staff thread(approve sites). This thread ultimately culminated in her being banned.

Chat

Having been banned, Kathryn joined #eoff. The initial reaction was mostly that of amusement, though her detracting behavior has so far culminated in some temporary bans. She used several nicknames in the chat, including Kathryn, Katson, and Goddess. She continues to visit as of April 12, 2005, and what remains of this story is as of yet currently unknown.
