When each visitor accesses this website, our webserver logs only the IP address and browsing software information of the user. We cannot and will not collect e-mail addresses and other personal information from users who simply browse pages.
However, we do collect the e-mail addresses of those who post messages on our message forums, the e-mail addresses of those who sign up for our mailing list, and information volunteered by the visitor. You should not receive any unauthorized e-mail or postal mail from third parties as a result of giving information to EoFF. We do not distribute your personal contact information to any outside parties without your consent.
The information we do collect is used to improve the content of our web page, to notify visitors directly about updates to our web site, and to help better target advertising (using statistical data, not personal information).
EoFF Message Forums
Please keep in mind that whenever you voluntarily disclose personal information in EoFF's message boards, your information can be viewed and/or used by others (with the exception of your e-mail address if you choose to make it unviewable). As a result, EoFF recommends that those of you who do not want personal information revealed to others, including those under 13 years of age, should not disclose this information.
You as the visitor hold the right to fill in as much or as little of the profile as you wish and may update it when necessary. Be sure to maintain a valid e-mail address so that you can retrieve your password if you forget it. All data in your EoFF Forum profile can be changed in the User Control Panel.
Parents, if you feel that your pre-teen child has disclosed information that you would prefer not to be revealed, contact us so that we can assist you in ensuring your child's online safety while at EoFF.
Furthermore, those of you who register for the forums may choose whether or not you want to have your e-mail address displayed and whether or not you wish to receive e-mail updates from EoFF. If you use this feature, you assume full responsibility for any e-mail contact you may receive from this website or from any others who see your displayed e-mail address.
Additionally, the EoFF message forum uses cookies. Cookies created by the forums cannot harm your computer and contain no personal information, they simply keep track of whether you are logged in and which topics you have read, for your convenience. 3rd party advertizement and banners displayed on this site may also place cookies on your computer. EoFF Mailing List
The Mailing List provides news and periodic updates to visitors who request it. Since this is an opt-in list, you will not receive e-mail from us if you do not want it. In order to join the list, you must sent an e-mail from the address you used to subscribe before we will add you to the list. This one-time verification allows us to confirm that you subscribed and helps prevent you from receiving unauthorized mail.

Opt-Out: Contact
EoFF allows you to opt out of contact from us at any time. The bottom of each EoFF Mailing List contains instructions for you to unsubscribe at any time should you decide to stop receiving mail from the Mailing List. For EoFFMail users, you can configure your options so that you do not receive e-mail updates from us. For EoFF Forum members, you can configure your profile so that you do not receive e-mail from us. Other than those 3 services, if you have not opted in, you will not need to opt out, as EoFF will not contact you.
Visitor Contact Information
We do not disclose e-mail addresses to any outside organizations. You, as the visitor, maintain full control over whether or not your e-mail is publicly displayed. If you contribute material or resources to EoFF in any way, we may post your e-mail address at your request. Please notify us of your decision in this situation.
At times, we hold contests and other events and may ask winners to privately disclose their postal address for the express purpose of sending a prize. In such an event, you will receive mail that relates to the contest or event only. Anyone under 13 years of age must have a parent or legal guardian provide consent to us prior to providing a postal address. By providing us your postal address, you agree to allow us to share this information with a 3rd party postal carrier for delivery purposes only.
